3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1 Ownership of Content
All content on the Arka Journals website, including but not limited to articles, images, graphics, logos, and database compilations, is owned by Arka Journals or its contributors, unless otherwise noted. This content is protected by international copyright laws and other intellectual property regulations. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or repurpose any content without explicit permission from the copyright owner
3.2 User-Generated Content
Authors who submit articles to Arka Journals retain ownership of their work but grant Arka Journals a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, distribute, and archive the content. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Any claims of infringement may result in the removal of the content and potential legal action.
3.3 Trademarks
All trademarks, logos, and service marks displayed on the Arka Journals website are the property of Arka Journals or their respective owners. Use of these marks is prohibited without prior written permission from the owner
4. Manuscript Submissions
4.1 Submission Process
Authors may submit manuscripts through our online submission system, following the guidelines available on the Arka Journals website. All submissions must be original and adhere to the journal’s formatting, citation, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these standards may be returned for revision or rejected outright.
4.2 Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must certify that their submissions are original and have not been published elsewhere. Arka Journals uses plagiarism detection tools to verify the authenticity of each manuscript. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate rejection of the submission. Authors found to have plagiarized content may be banned from future submissions
4.3 Peer Review
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process. Arka Journals aims to provide a transparent and timely review process. However, the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript rests with the editorial board
4.4 Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Authors may be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) if their manuscript is accepted for publication. The APC covers the costs of editing, publishing, and archiving the article. Authors will be informed of the APC during the submission process. Payment of APCs does not guarantee acceptance or publication of the manuscript.
4.5 Withdrawal Policy
Once a manuscript has been submitted, authors may request to withdraw the manuscript at any time before a final decision is made. However, if the manuscript is in the review process, a withdrawal fee may apply. Repeated withdrawals without valid reason may lead to sanctions.
5. Publication Ethics
5.1 Ethical Standards
Arka Journals is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in academic publishing. All parties involved—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—are expected to adhere to our ethical guidelines. These include principles of transparency, integrity, accountability, and fairness in the publication process.
5.2 Authorship
Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as authors. Authors are required to confirm that all listed co-authors have reviewed the final manuscript and have agreed to its submission. Authorship disputes should be resolved before submission.
5.3 Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that could influence their work. Failure to disclose conflicts of interest may lead to the rejection of the manuscript or retraction of a published article
5.4 Research Misconduct
Arka Journals takes allegations of research misconduct seriously. This includes, but is not limited to, falsification of data, plagiarism, and unethical research practices. Any misconduct discovered before or after publication will result in retraction and potential legal consequences.
6. Payment and Fees
6.1 Subscription Fees
Some services or features of Arka Journals may require a subscription. Subscription fees are clearly listed on the website, and payment must be made in full before accessing premium content. By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees and charges.
6.2 Article Processing Charges (APCs)
As noted, APCs may be required for publication in Arka Journals. These charges help cover editorial and production costs. The APC amount will be clearly communicated to the author during the submission process. Failure to pay APCs within the specified time frame may result in withdrawal of the article from the publication queue.
6.3 Refund Policy
Payments made for APCs and subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, exceptions may be made in certain cases, such as technical errors or duplicate payments. Refunds, when applicable, will be processed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Arka Journals.
